Typesuits
#1
Well, here we go. Typesuits have been a thing for a few months and it's pretty much became one of my most popular concepts. As such, perhaps I'll write whatever bits of info I can put on this thing here.

Overview

The Typesuits themselves are canvas full-body straitjacket suits/sleepsacks based on each of the 19 (???-type included) types in Pokemon. The Normal Typesuit is essentially a plain straitjacket suit/sleepsack based on the Normal type while all of the remaining Typesuits each have an effect based on the type they are designed from. An exception to this is the Legend Typesuit, which is a rarity. The Legend Typesuit acts Normal Type by default. The wearer has control over all other types and can ramp up their effects as if they were Super Effective, and can summon any typesuit at will. In exchange for this godly power, the Legend Typesuit cannot be taken off.

In terms of mechanical properties, the Typesuits are made of a special canvas that interweaves cotton with Tarountula silk. Tarountula silkis one of the strongest materials in the Pokemon world, able to harmlessly fend off Scyther attacks. Based on the fact that a Scyther can cut down a tree in a single swipe, it can be assumed that pure Tarountula silk has a shear strength of 600 petapascals, which is equivalent to a tensile strength of 1 exapascal. While the strength of the Tarountula silk/cotton canvas used in the Typesuits is unknown,

There is a Bird Typesuit with a basis on the scrapped Bird type from Pokemon Red/Blue and is one of the types Missingno had. As such, it has the same colors as Missingno.

There is a way type effectiveness works with the suits. This is completely optional in a normal roleplaying session as going for this may overcomplicate things for some. They are as follows:

Same Type: If a trainer is put into a Typesuit of the same type as the trainer (ex. Water for Misty), then the wearer will get 20% hornier. Even a snobbish trainer keeping her sexual urges under North Korean levels of tight control would have her resistance to horniness reduced from 100% to 80%.

Super Effective: The effects of the Typesuit worn are amplified. If a Typesuit is super effective on a trainer the wearer is rubbing into, the recipient gets hornier quicker.

Normally Effective: The effects of the Typesuit worn are made use of normally.

Not Very Effective: The effects of the Typesuit are weakened. A captive bound in a suit she resists is more likely to escape. If a Typesuit is weak against a trainer the wearer is rubbing into, the recipient is less likely to get turned on. This is ignored by suits used on users who are of the same type as the suit (ex. Lillie for Fairy, Flannery for Fire, Mallow for Grass, etc)

As for gags, there are three types I would imagine work best with Typesuits:

Muzzle: A muzzle in the same color as their respective Typesuits.
Hood: A full-enclosure canvas hood in the same color as their respective Typesuits.
Ball Hood: Ball hoods bearing icons for each type and having the same color as their respective Typesuits. A personal favorite.

The Typesuits

Normal

[Image: dfke1yg-87f0ff9f-4c04-4500-a22c-2021e204...PMD97Nwcvs][Image: dfy142c-1ad9a5fc-eb3c-4c3e-b88d-b15f2e79...gSnVxcUUhc]

The Normal Typesuit is based on the plainness of the Normal Type. While other types stand out for their elementality, Normal types are best known for their versatility. Normal is weak against Rock and Steel types and does nothing to Ghost types. On the opposite end, Normal is weak against Fighting and is immune to Ghost Types.

Effect: Nothing.

Fire

[Image: dfke2ew-2ee2cbf7-e034-42aa-aba9-3f4a79cb...MWmkMBEtwk][Image: dfy1439-64841840-5da0-4d6e-ad78-8ca815f0...prgC2x2bw0]

The Fire Typesuit is based on the flaming nature of the Fire Type. The Fire Type typically revolves around fire and heat. Fire is strong against Grass, Ice, Bug and Steel Types, but is weak against Fire, Water, Rock, and Dragon types. Defensively, Fire is weak against Water, Ground, and Rock types while it resists Grass, Fire, Ice, Bug, Steel, and Fairy-types.

Effect: A feeling of comfort similar to a warm blanket.

Water

[Image: dfke2f5-3ca41d6b-b525-4437-a269-fbc6fc44...Ix3_QqB-Nc][Image: dfy141j-85c9649a-fcf0-46c6-afa0-8739e62d...36eDJigft0]

The Water Typesuit is base on the serene yet ever-numerous Water Type. The Water Type revolves around water and the sea and is thus the most common type. Water is strong against Fire, Ground. and Rock Types, but is weak against Water, Grass, and Dragon types. Defensively, Water is weak against Grass and Electric types while it resists Fire, Water, Ice, and Steel-types.

Effect: TBD

Grass

[Image: dfke2fd-0ce2a628-1546-4b5e-81ae-8db878d2...bp-jwKMkok][Image: dfy142x-e92a5608-c80b-4ad7-b4ef-3f2f8654...CAncZyWEgU]

The Grass Typesuit is based on the very green Grass Type. The Grass Type typically revolves around plants and the wonders of Mother Nature. Grass is strong against Water, Ground, and Rock Types, but is weak against Fire, Grass, Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon, and Steel types. Defensively, Grass is weak against Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying and Bug types while it resists Water, Grass, Electric, and Ground-types.

Effect: TBD

Electric

[Image: dfke2fm-6ff96335-fbe2-4a82-ba73-81996ad2...jYD0Fpk1H0][Image: dfy143l-f0207db1-be2b-462c-a382-f3e8ba9e...uoUi5N5JZI]

The Electric Typesuit is based on the shocking Electric Type. The Electric Type typically revolves around electricity and its workings, which is funny seeing as how electricity is mostly manmade. Electric is strong against Water and Flying Types, but is weak against Grass, Electric, and Dragon types and doesn't do jack against Ground types. Defensively, Electric is only weak against Ground type moves while it resists Electric, Flying, and Steel-types.

Ice

The Ice Typesuit is based on the chilling nature of the Ice Type. The Ice Type typically revolves around ice, cold, and the Arctic. Due to very few things being cold in nature, Ice Type is the rarest type. Ice is strong against Grass, Ground, Flying and Dragon Types, but is weak against Fire, Water, Ice, and Steel types. Defensively, Ice is weak against Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel types while it only resists Ice type for some reason.

Effect: TBD

Fighting

[Image: dfke2gh-a14f46bf-0c27-40f4-806f-5d1079de...hLjQ3hBdgs][Image: dfy143c-eef8dc14-fe4e-4750-af58-ca88b004...Ny0MK2HXyg]

The Fighting Typesuit is based on the powerful nature of the Fighting Type. The Fighting Type is based on martial arts among various other forms of combat. Fighting is strong against Normal, Ice, Rock, Dark, and Steel Types, but is weak against Poison, Flying, Psychic, Bug, and Fairy types. Defensively, Ice is weak against Flying, Psychic, and Fairy types while it resists Bug, Rock, and Dark types. Despite how Bea feels about it, the material and the way she's tied up means the Fighting Typesuit makes Bea more huggable.

Effect: TBD

Poison

[Image: dfke2h1-634ee6d3-e82c-4110-9c27-5bdd3679...sEvo7Z2JPs][Image: dfy1428-1c8673e3-e6f4-4575-9b7e-b0adf0be...eZZC8oMPQI]

The Poison Typesuit is based on the toxic nature of the Poison Type. The Poison Type typically revolves around various toxins like poisons, venoms, and harmful chemicals, plus it was bootlegged in the form of Pokemon Uranium's Nuclear type, which is really just Poison type with extra steps. Poison is strong against Grass and Fairy Types, but is weak against Poison, Ground, Rock, and Ghost types and couldn't do jack against Steel types. Defensively, Poison is weak against Ground and Psychic types while it resists Grass, Fighting, Poison, Bug, and Fairy types.

Effect: TBD

Ground

[Image: dfke2hm-12e2e4a2-3149-489e-a343-fe6d9fed...NYyGh6fkjg][Image: dfy142p-d7e8f0d3-0d78-42f1-ba41-79bae54b...KGHZUVr_d0]

The Ground Typesuit is based on the earthen nature of the Ground Type. The Ground type, along with the Rock type, both revolve around the element of earth. In Ground type's case, it revolves around the soft, loamy earth we stand on and what all teems underneath it. Ground is strong against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel Types, but is weak against Grass and Bug types and couldn't do jack against Flying types. Defensively, Ground is weak against Water, Grass, and Ice types while it resists Poison and Rock types and is immune to Electric-type moves.

Effect: TBD

Flying

[Image: dfke2hs-b43246e0-f6b4-4b7c-b87e-bf945c7b...5rWyzf_MGU][Image: dfy1436-185aa600-6821-492c-ab26-ff1ba96d...6RZkZaztBA]

The Flying Typesuit is based on the sky high nature of the Ice Type. The Flying Type typically revolves around the element of air, although the majority of type matchups had to do with birds. Flying is strong against Grass, Fighting, and Bug Types, but is weak against Electric, Rock, and Steel types. Defensively, Ice is weak against Electric, Ice, and Rock types while it resists Grass and Bug types and is immune to Ground-type moves.

The Psychic Typesuit is based on the mindbending nature of the Ice Type. The Psychic Type typically revolves around psychology and the mind. Psychic is strong against Fighting and Poison Types, but is weak against Psychic and Steel types and couldn't do jack against the Dark type. Defensively, Psychic is weak against Bug, Ghost, and Dark types while it resists Psychic and Fighting types.

Effect: TBD

Bug

[Image: dfke2io-87a612a0-c04a-4110-9bd4-a89cdeef...W7A8DLCmf8][Image: dfy143z-e7779bb4-3c1e-47c0-bede-98d3b008...IE1HXJnYfQ]

The Bug Typesuit is based on the creepy-crawly nature of the Bug Type. The Bug Type typically revolves around the idea of bugs portrayed in children's books, which is basically insects and arachnids, although other arthropods may pop in from time to time. Bug is strong against Grass, Psychic, and Dark Types, but is weak against Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Ghost, Steel, and Fairy types. Defensively, Bug is weak against Fire, Flying, and Rock types while it resists Grass, Fighting, and Ground types.

Effect: TBD

Rock

[Image: dfke2j4-77a3d9d1-6611-432c-9ca3-6caea924...3t19KE8yAs][Image: dfy141v-e7087e9e-e43a-4763-9484-709aa6e3...ifPiwievQ8]

The Rock Typesuit is based on the hardened nature of the Rock Type. The Rock type, along with the Ground type, both revolve around the element of earth. In Rock type's case, it revolves around the hardened rock and many minerals of the Earth's crust. Despite this, Roxanne here manages to somehow be the cutest girl bound in a Typesuit in ArtiOHM's depictions of the Typesuit (right, or bottom picture, depending on your screen resolution) Rock is strong against Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug types, but is weak against Fighting, Ground, and Steel types. Defensively, Rock is weak against Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel types while it resists Normal, Fire, Poison, and Flying types.

Effect: TBD

Ghost

[Image: dfke2jc-1e1d5f77-551f-4aff-bb5b-7b5392ee...eaEHVxKl2w][Image: dfy1431-12008d18-e482-4e97-ba1b-c51c81a6...j5pDYxaZNA]

The Ghost Typesuit is based on the spooky nature of the Ghost Type. The Ghost Type typically revolves around the paranormal, and ghosts are typically the souls of dead beings, so there's that. Ghost is strong against Psychic and Ghost Types, but is weak against Dark types and couldn't do jack against the Normal type. Defensively, Psychic is weak against Ghost and Dark types (because Dark types couldn't give a Raticate's Froslass about the woes of the dead) while it resists Poison and Bug types. Ghost Types have TWO immunities, being immune to Normal and Fighting types.

Effect: A feeling of comfort similar to being buried in a coffin six feet under or entombed in a sarcophagus, plus a slight boost in playful mischievousness.

Dragon

[Image: dfke2jj-cbca80d9-9295-407d-a9e3-27de631b...JdipO_dRiQ][Image: dfy143p-07b174db-2255-4070-a853-77db7c3e...ZkIpbNnEkQ]

The Dragon Typesuit is based on the mystical nature of the Ghost Type. The Dragon type is based around dragons themselves, although one specific weakness of the Dragon type is based on reptiles. Dragon is only strong against itself, but is weak against Steel types and couldn't do jack against the Fairy type. Defensively, Dragon is weak against Dragon, Ice, and Fairy types while it resists Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric types.

The Dark Typesuit is based on the evil nature of the Dark Type. The Dark type is, as you would know from it's Japanese name: the Waru type, is based on evil entities and underhanded acts. Dark is strong against Psychic and Ghost types, but is weak against Fighting, Dark, and Fairy types. Defensively, Dark is weak against Fighting, Bug, and Fairy types while it resists Ghost and Dark types and is immune to the Psychic type.

Effect: TBD

Steel

[Image: dfke2k0-415b58de-1a5d-4a0a-af44-774fc894...J6wjM2Q7BQ][Image: dfy141q-d5878f52-ee70-4879-b6a0-7fa168de...MQycAVmoL8]

The Steel Typesuit is based on the metallic nature of the Steel Type. The Steel type is based on, well, metals. Steel is strong against Ice, Rock, and Fairy types, but is weak against Fire, Water, Electric, and Steel types. Defensively, Steel is weak against Fire, Ground, and Fighting types while it resists Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, and Fairy types and is immune to the Poison type.

Effect: TBD

Fairy

The Fairy Typesuit is based on the magical nature of the Fairy Type. The Fairy type revolves around fairies and magic and their type matchups are mostly based on their connection with nature. Fairy is strong against Fighting, Dragon, and Dark types, but is weak against Fire, Poison, and Steel types. Defensively, Fairy is weak against Poison and Steel types while it resists Fighting, Bug, and Dark types and is immune against the Dragon type.

The ??? Typesuit is based on the enigmatic nature of the ??? Type. The ??? type is very scarcely used in the Pokemon games, only having been used in the move Curse, as the type for Pokemon Eggs, a crash handler for Arceus, and four specific spin-off moves before being removed from the games in Generation V. There are no type matchups for the ??? type.

Special Typesuits

Bird Typesuit

[Image: dfxkw83-2f171fe8-fe9c-4195-a4a3-2c02d7fb...zNoOkgM5aU][Image: dfy6wmk-521a4ccb-02c2-4561-9f7f-6977a7b5...R8wFBOnK7Q]

The Bird Typesuit is based on the scrapped Bird Type. The only remnants of this type's existence are found in Missingno and the glitch pokemon: 'M. The suit itself bears a Missingno motif. There are no type matchups for the Bird Type, although it is commonly believed to be replaced with the Flying type.

Effect: TBD

Legend Typesuit

[Image: dfxlio0-3dad4f2c-bcca-456c-ba72-03f1d21f...9Q7644zMe4][Image: dfy8snp-8c574727-b978-4d4d-ac36-8006e22e...UtNPnRnEX4]

The Legend Typesuit is based on the Legend Plate: a piece of Arceus himself that allows him to access every type. This suit, like the Legend Plate, has access to every typesuit. The Legend Typesuit is very rare, perhaps as a means to keep the thing out of evil hands. The type matchups are essentially what the wearer wills it. In exchange, however, the Legend Typesuit is unable to be taken off.

Effect: Has control over other Typesuits and can ramp their effects up to super effectiveness. Can magically summon Typesuits at will. Can pull a Kecleon and "change types" at will. Wearer is permanently bound in the suit.

Variants

There are several variants of the Typesuit out there. They are as follows...

Original

[Image: dg0kp1i-9c1d01e1-05ab-4585-848c-aa2877f7...mQ53nat0xA]
The original Typesuit, shown front and back here. These things are described in the overview before, so I wouldn't go too in-depth here.

Inflatable

[Image: bug_inflation_drone_by_lemonnrainnbow_dg...1_-Umjxdi4]

Designed by LemonnRainnbow, the Inflatable Typesuit consists of a ball hood, and inflatable straitjacket suit, and accessories depending on the wearer. The ball hood is an optional item in other typesuits, but are a requirement for this variety. The Inflatable Typesuit is a specialty in LemonnRainnbow's own Orbaria region and serves as uniforms for servitude under the region's Pokemon Insurgence-tier gym leaders (of which there are 19 instead of 8).: https://www.deviantart.com/lemonnrainnbo...76/orbaria

By the way, if you played Pokemon Insurgence, you'll know very well that that game's gym leaders will mess you up good.

Pros
  • Personalized - These suits can easily be made after the trainer who would soon wear the outfit.
  • Added mobility thanks to legs being usable

Cons
  • Inability to communicate from gagging
  • Sight may be unavailable if sight-providing features aren't present
  • Nutrition-providing tech may be required as long as the suits are worn.

Zero Suit-ish
[Image: dg3rhum-771c3ec5-758f-45e7-a7db-5e535cdb...45W_hlz8nQ]
A design variant of the original Typesuit that resembles Samus' Zero Suit. This version has a couple straps added to the legs, but isn't really any different from the original.

Padded
[Image: dg3ryob-d953124d-0ac0-4cb6-9983-acfea593...eGgSWQXcig]
The Padded Typesuit has a unique property that makes it stand out from the others and is spread among all 19 types. The Padded Typesuit magically eliminates all waste material as soon as it is applied onto the wearer and makes it so the wearer never has to use the bathroom as long as they wear it. This also means that diaper messes will NEVER EXIST as long as these things are worn. Despite the diapers being so inconceivably thick that you can only realistically find them on art sites, the Padded Typesuit has the added benefit of mobility, which allows humans wearing them to participate in competitions (ex. a Keijo parody sport) and entertain people (ex. burlesque dance) more easily. May here happily volunteered to wear each Typesuit. Don't worry about her physicals; she can carry a bike and hundreds of nuggets and bottles of Windex in her backpack just fine, plus the Padded Typesuits are made out of the same super-durable canvas Typesuits themselves are made of.

Pros
  • Added mobility thanks to legs being usable
  • Thick pads may strengthen the wearer slightly

Cons
  • May be humiliating thanks to the diapers
  • Walking may seem a little stunted from the thickness of the diapers

A few nonstandard Typesuits based on Kingdom of Loathing stuff.

[Image: fetish_footage__typesuits_by_polyedit200...kHm1wdasGU]

These Typesuits appear in a Mechitube version of the Normaverse, and they share similar properties to the original Typesuits themselves. They are as follows:

Hot: Literally just the Fire Typesuit
Cold: Literally just the Ice Typesuit
Sleaze: A Typesuit that is lubed up. Dunno why you'd do that since Typesuits are made of canvas, not skintight rubber. Personally, if I were to stick with the semi-magical bit these and the original Typesuits had, I would've given the Sleaze Typesuit aphrodisiac effects instead of a strange oil.
Stench: Contrary to the name implying it's foul, this Typesuit instead serves as aromatherapy similar to the Grass Typesuit.
Spooky: Similar to the Ghost Typesuit. An invisible presence can be felt around the wearer. This presence may or may not be a spirit.
