Julia tried to comfort her bound friend: “Be patient a little, now we'll take you off this stupid hanger and I'll untie you.”
At that moment, the ghosts appeared.
- “KYAYA!!!" - Julia screamed in surprise and mechanically took the cursed gold (whatever that means), at the same time she also reflexively pulled out a pistol with her other hand and shot a projectile of binding confetti at the nearest ghost

The cursed gold meamt the confetti rebounded and hit herself.

((If I understood correctly, the confetti bounced off the ghost and hit Julia. How exactly did it bind her after that?))
Meanwhile, Alex was carrying Kat tied up, slinging her over his shoulder.
Kat: “You know, I like it when you carry me in your arms, but I would prefer it to happen under different circumstances.”
Alex: “I promise, when we get out of this mess, I will definitely carry you in my arms in a calmer environment. And here, it seems, is the kitchen.”
Holding Katerina's legs with one hand, he opened the kitchen door with the other hand and carefully looked inside.

Let's leave Katerina and Alex for now and get back to Julia and Jane.
After being hit by the projectile, Julia fell to the floor, but immediately deftly jumped to her feet, despite the fact that her hands were tied and additionally tied to her torso with ropes made of durable confetti.
“Damn it! This Milton gave us some kind of useless trash instead of a normal weapon” - she tried to twitch her arms and twist her torso in an attempt to get rid of the ropes, but all her dexterity was not enough for this.

She walked over to Lena and Harley:
- “And yes, could you untie me, Jane and the other girls?”
