Masha, unless you're born deaf, you got most of those questions answered when Leah asked them and you were five feet away from both girls at the time. Do yourself a favor and follow the instructions you were given; it's not that hard.

"Uhh... No, but you do get money for each room you complete, which you can spend on stuff at the Item Shop," Hilda replied.
I should point out that roguelikes typically don't have a straight-up exit anyway. Think about something like Rabbit and Steel for instance.

Masha walked away from Hilda: “Damn. This must be some kind of stupid prank or a crazy dream. I'd pinch myself if my hands weren't wrapped in that damn straitjacket.”
She tried to toss and turn again, hoping to get out of the suit, but it was very strong and fitted so tightly that it did not leave the slightest hope of independent release.
- “Very funny, guys! I appreciated your joke, and now let's move on to the part where you come in and tell me that I was filmed by a hidden camera,” she said somewhere in the ceiling. But there was no response, naturally.
- “Uggghhh... Okay, at least I tried.”
Having exhausted all possible options, Masha approached Lena: “Hi, I'm Masha. It looks like we're both stuck here.”

And aloud she said, “Yes, I agree. Actually, I was just going to suggest that you join our efforts. It seems to me. These trials will be too difficult and dangerous to handle alone. So where do we start? That strange girl in the dragon costume hinted that it was best to visit the changing booths first. What do you say, partner?”

Masha followed Lena. In such a dangerous place, it's better to stick together, even in stupid costumes, than to stay alone for the sake of a ghostly opportunity to change clothes. Besides, something told Masha that changing booths were unlikely to help her take off her damn costume. That would be too easy.
