Really, the goal here is to make it less likely for rolls to be fudged by implementing an on-site dice roller. I haven't seen the issue crop up yet (in fact, the only issue I've seen crop up lately is railroading), although off-site dice rollers may be a little dodgy. So yeah, there you have it.
