Daisy's face was red with anger and shame, and her nostrils were flaring violently. If she had managed to free herself right at that moment, she would certainly have killed her captors, or at least tried to do so.
However, when the kidnappers left, leaving the girls alone, Daisy tried to calm down a little and think about how they could get out of this mess. To begin with, she tested her bonds for strength, then quickly became convinced that she would not be able to untie or break them without help.
Then the girl looked around to assess the situation and, perhaps, find something that would help her free herself or free one of her friends in misfortune.
She hadnt noticed Dawn's manipulation of the acorn yet, because the object was too small.
