Exclusivity isn't exactly new. Anyway, let's respond to these.
While Bug Type Pokémon as a whole have been used to make uncuttable fabrics (as noted in the Galarian region), Tarountula's silk stands out in particular for this quality as Scyther couldn't do anything to its silk.
That being said, Z-Power is a potential possibility as it is most similar to Terastal Energy in its elementality. Unfortunately, Dynamax Energy cannot work due to it being relegated exclusively to Power Spots in Galar, themselves only large (or small) enough to comfortably cover entire stadiums. Likewise, Mega Evolution is Pokémon exclusive, and even then only Rayquaza can Mega Evolve freely outside of rogues.
It is noted, fortunately, that an Omni-Ring (Pokémon Champions) is being developed in an effort to get around the faults of every regional gimmick.
