Trapped in The Manor

“Finally, one of the organizers has appeared here. I was starting to think it was all a stupid prank.”

The two women looked at Dawn for a moment terrified, even Julia stood silently with her mouth agap as she tried to figure out what happened, but soon the women pulled themselves together with Lauren pulling the stunned Julia with her.

"S-So first let me thank you all for coming to try out  'Escape from Wulfram Manor'. Oooooo~" Bianca stated, Angelica cringing at the attempt to make it scary. "So the rules are simple, all of you are to to participate in the games of each room. Your goal is to avoid falling into the, shall we say perverse traps, and discover the secrets of the Manor, or become a victim yourself. You can work together in rooms or work on your own, though you should also be careful as your opponents can also sabotage you."

"If you wind up tied up, don't worry because another member of the group can choose to unite you or simply leave you tied up for the rest of the time. If you leave the Manson before the time is up, you also forfeit the money. Are there any questions?" Bianca asked as she seemed to get into the groove of things.

((And now and word from me. So I wanted to just wanted to thank ya both again for joining and wanted to assure you we will be using the Dice system for stuff just like DnD but only like big things such as rolling a D20 to see how much you get wrapped up by webbing or just how hard you push someone. Just remember to post a screenshot shot and keep to the honor system))

"Yes," Dawn said. "Is there a safe place for me and the others to hunker down in for the night should we feel the need to sleep?"

Yana was startled when three girls suddenly materialized near the table. But the first shock soon passed and she remembered that she had seen Dawn doing the same thing on the TV show “Total tied island".

Inna muttered to herself, “Special effects... just stupid special effects.”

Both girls asked their questions (Let's assume that each of them did it after Bianca answered the previous question).

Inna: “I have a question! How will the prize be distributed if several participants reach the finish line? Will each of them receive up to 10 thousand dollars? Or will the prize go only to the one who does it first? Or will it be divided equally among all those who can cope with the task?”
Yana: “I don't really like the word victim. What will happen to those who fail the test or fall into a trap? Is it safe?”

"Of course." Bianca began, "The bedrooms are on the second floor. As for the prize-"

"The person who gets the cash is the one who can find the 'proof'." Angelica stated. "The traps will hold you until someone gets you out." Julia smacked her lips at the answer.

"Are you for real? We could just end up getting nothing?" She complained while Lauren laughed.

"I mean, now it makes sense why it's okay to sabotage people."

This is going to be annoying, Dawn thought. These guys will try tearing each other apart and I might be roped into their nonsense if things get awry... No matter... Rather than just stick around for a prize, I'll do my thing: find the eldritch abomination that's causing issues in this manor, deal with him, and get out once I'm done. The others can do whatever they want with the prize money. Perhaps if I make my goal known, I'll stave off any attempts to sabotage my efforts. Then, Dawn spoke in the same tone as a mechanic coming in to fix someone's car. "I believe this place has an eldritch abomination problem? Is that a thing these five need to worry about?"

"I think it's something you all should be worried about, Ooo~" Bianca said once again trying to add too the mood while Angelica massaged the bridge of her nose. Lauren however got in Dawn's space

"Ooo~ What kind of Eldritch Horror we talking here? The Old Ones? The Lords in Black?"

"Oh get real," Julia scoffed. "Obviously these two hired her to be a plant to scare us or to keep the cash for themselves."

"That is outrageous, we've done no such thing! I'll prove it right now, double the cash and we'll leave once you sign the wavers." Angelica growled. She then grabbed the file Bianca held and threw it on the table for the group to read. The only two things out of the ordinary was of course the section consentingnting to being tied up as well as the section mentioning that Angelica and her company would not be liable if anyone disappeared once they left the building.

Gwen wasted no time signing the document. Dawn, however, had a thought process rolling through her.
These humans... They don't know what Wurgarath is capable of or even the fact that it's still hiding in this place somewhere... This is worse than I thought... I need to handle this thing ASAP.
After a bit of hesitation, Dawn signed the waiver.

- “Yes, what kind of dark forces did you feel here?" - Yana asked Dawn. She wasn't completely sure that Dawn had magical powers. But if that's really the case, then her words were worth listening to. If Dawn was a hired actress, then... her words should still be listened to, because it could give a hint about future dangers.

- “That sounds wonderful! When can I start!" - Inna chirped, glancing at the contract, and immediately without hesitation grabbed a pen and signed her name.

- “Inna, damn you! Stop signing documents without reading them!” - Yana made a facepalm.

"So far, I sense an aura of insanity, apparently from multiple people," Dawn replied. "A fervent gaggle of giggling lacking a physical source. I'd say it's a run-of-the-mill Eldritch abomination issue." Dawn then turned to Yana. "In case you're wondering, Yana... No, I wasn't paid by these two, nor was I here for any monetary purposes. I'm here for more pressing concerns that neither of those two seem to be even remotely aware of."

Yana shivered nervously: “It doesn't sound too encouraging. But if this abomination shows up and attacks us, will you be able to handle it?”

Julia rolled her eyes, shooting Dawn a skeptical look.
"Sure, sure. We're just supposed to trust you." She then pushed past Dawn and Yana to sign the contract. Lauren however stayed back, raising her hand up.

"I have a question. Will we get in trouble for say... Tying up any of our competitors?" Julia dropped the pen and looked at the other woman as she kept her smirk on her face.

"Well," Bianca began, looking back through the contract herself. "While that would be counter productive for solving the puzzles, it would fall under sabotage and this would be alright."

Yana continued the conversation with Dawn: “Under other conditions, after your words, I would refuse to participate in this dubious shit. But alas, I can't leave my sister alone...” - she took a pen and quickly signed her name - “If you need help fighting this otherworldly crap, then you can count on me. However, I don't have any superpowers.”

Then she turned to Julia: “If I understand the essence of this attraction correctly, none of us will have to tie up competitors. Traps and animators will successfully cope with this task.” “As well as the ghosts and chthonic creatures inhabiting this place,” she added mentally.

Inna shifted impatiently from one foot to the other: “Blah, blah, blah. When can we start already? The prize won't win itself”

(I'm just gonna pretend You put Lauren since that was her question.)

"Well yeah we don't have too." Lauren said, the gester she made with her hands implying just how just how much of a wild card she was. Julia huffed at Lauren's anwser then pointed at Inna

"I agree with the other twin. The sooner we can start, the sooner I can win." Julia flicked out her hair to empathize her claim.

Angelica knod her head to Bianca who quickly put the contract back into the folder. She then pulled out her phone.

"Alright girls, thank you for signing and your time starts," She raised her hand then threw it down. "Now! Remember to grab a map and a camera to help guide you and to get the best quality of video." Angelica however was already half way through the double doors leading outside.

Gwen looked at the others. "She does realize our phones have cameras, right?"

“That's not a bad idea,” Yana said and took a picture of the map on her phone.

Julia walked over to the table and picked up the camera, along with Lauren, the two following Yana's lead as they took pictures of the map.

"The cameras are the latest models with night vision mode and shoots in 4k." Bianca told the group. "And remember, you don't need to go through the rooms in order or together." Bianca quickly followed after Angelica "Goodbye, and good luck." She called back, the door shutting behind her.

"Well, I'm gonna see if this dump has a stocked kitchen." Julia told the others.

"Have fun with that," Gwen replied. Gwen took a picture of the map along with Dawn. Gwen took a camera, but Dawn didn't. Instead, Dawn walked to the nearest wall and leaned against it as she looked over the map.
"Maybe this rough map has a lead..." Dawn said.

“Okay. I'm going to go to the playroom. Who's with me? Inna shouted cheerfully.
“I think it would be better if we didn't separate at least for the first time,” Yana replied, “And besides, the dining room seems to me much safer than the kitchen or the game room.”

"I'll go with you." Lauren said, suddenly appearing behind Inna. Julia gave Gwen a glare before leaving the group, throwing open the door and stepping through. Without warning it suddenly slammed shut with a dull click.

Meanwhile as Dawn studied the map she could see all of the rooms:

1. Game Room
2. Dinning Room
3. Kitchen
4. Library
5. Gallery
6. Toy Room
7. Dressing Room
8. Theater
9. Dance Studio

Yet there was another room on the third floor in less bold calligraphy reading bedrooms. Dawn could see an odd symbol by the Library, a symbol Dawn could recognize as a rune.
