There were no other ways then to the dining place except fot a couple bathrooms and photo balconies . Nicolas greeted them “what brings you too here”

Once in the dining room, Katerina said: “Hello everyone. My name is Kat, and this is my friend Alex. We came here to...”
At this time, her little speech was interrupted by a voice from the loudspeaker.

Alex looked around in disbelief: “Uh… I am a winner? But we came here just a minute ago and didn't even apply for participation.”
“Is this part of the party scenario?" - Katerina asked everyone present.

Emma sighed, then took a picture of herself with the others with a deadpan look on her face. She then posted the picture on her socials with the following message: "This Ottawa Eats place is getting stupid. Might just settle for leaving a bad review on Yelp for intentional extremely confusing activity."

"Oh come on! I never signed up for that!" Emma yelled.
"I did~!" Kitty cheerfully showed a confirmation email of an entry she made for herself a week prior. It's the only confirmed entry since everyone else seemed completely unaware.
Emma sighed. "You guys can do whatever you want. I'll just sit here and play Hero Wars Alliance. That Corvus skin I'm trying to get F2P is more worth my time than something I didn't enter." Emma just took a seat at the table and booted up a game, all while Kitty happily ran off.

Nicolas harley and lena made their way to the photo area harley asked alex “you have any idea in this?” Nicolas quietly pulled the chair emma was on “lets go your sister needs you.” he pulled her to the way of the photo arena.

"Hands off, cretin!" Emma pulled her hand away and slapped the guy, then sat back down at the table.

Nicolas shrugged and continued walking. Meanwhile harley  asked yena “ you guys dont know anything abput this.”

- “Hurrah! Hurray! I won! Where can I get my prize?” shouted Inna joyfully and ran ahead of everyone else (except maybe Kitty) to the photo zone.
- “Damn it. When will you learn to be more circumspect,” Yana grumbled and reluctantly joined the others.
- “Okay, let's not split up and see what's in there,” Kat told Alex, and they also went to the photo zone with the rest of the group.

Alex replied to Harley: “Hi. I didn't expect to see you here. But you do relate to the staff of this hall, don't you? Don't you know anything about that suspicious voice and the equally suspicious prize?”

Yana replied to Harley, “No. I only know what you and Lena told us. Do you think this voice could belong to that crazy rich man?”
- “Which crazy rich man?" - Katerina asked, and Yana briefly told her and Alex the legend about this place, she had heard earlier.

When they arrived they could only find a plate of walkite talkie patches (and an additional one for emma and a sign saying) “take two then go back to the dining area”

The note, it seems, was clearly meant for Kitty. As such, Kitty took two of the walkie talkies. "Well, time to get back to Emma!" Kitty excitedly ran back to where Emma was.

Nicolas took one as he spoke to alex “that was odd wasnt it.”

Kitty made it back to Emma, who was still on her phone. Emma had a moment of excitement of her own. "Yes!" Emma stood up and raised her arms as she cheered. "Winter+ skin for Corvus, baby!"
"Hey Emma~!"
"Ahh!" Emma jumped as soon as she heard Kitty. As soon as she saw Kitty, Emma said in a deadpan tone, "Oh... It's just you, Kitty..."
"So uhh... All that was there were a bunch of walkie talkies." Kitty handed the extra she had over to Emma.
"Seriously?! Why the hell would those morons hide those behind a stupid raffle literally nobody but you participated in instead of doing the smart thing of just giving them to us straight?!"
Kitty shrugged.
"Good gravy..." Emma soon wrote a one-star review of the place on Yelp with the following...

"We haven't gotten to the food yet and we had to deal with non-existent staff, a so-called mystery that is clearly a braindead marketing stunt especially with the realistically-illegal polygamy bit, and hiding shit behind so-called 'sweepstakes' they KNOW nobody entered instead of giving things to us straight. As a law school student, I will litigate against this place for these failures as a business so the place will be forced to function like an actual eating establishment instead of a place run by people who think Tide Pods are real food."

After posting the review, Emma grumbled. "Some people..."

Harley whispered to lena then the blue haired woman spoke “what do you think these are for?” Just then a waitar gave Harley, lena, kat , nicolas and alex water, emma and yana iced coffee and kitty and inna OJ.
