((Yes, it's an issue. Garnet was trying to keep her original gear, NO MODIFICATIONS. You could have taken this response as such and went from there: "And I'm telling ya right now; I don't need any extras. My gear is fine the way it is."

You can't just railroad one particular thing for the sake of story progression.))
