And Lena would find it safe.  In fact, after she was shoved "gently" into the slime, it seems to have removed as much stuff as it could from Lena and compressed her into a fetal position before pushing her out as a ball of slime with a covered head.  The ball wasn't solid, but it seems to push back when she tries to stretch.

Of course, after the other party members were rescued and the slime was dealt with, the party brought the balled Lena back to the tavern and left her in Sean's care before departing.

Rawurrah soon left the tavern.
