PokeMummies

((Fair warning: I won't tie up men. I'm not really into GiD.))

So... PokeMummies! They're the things that preceded Typesuits. Below are some example pictures of them.:

For thousands of years, women of high standing were mummified like this. Now, you find yourself in a fairly empty crypt... OR so it seems...

Lena heavily explored to the crypt when she suddenly tripped over a rock, she was unharmed though.

A slender, athletically built girl with large breasts and long brown hair braided in two pigtails came up to Lena and held out her hand, helping her up. She was wearing short denim shorts, high boots, a short tank top and a wide-brimmed hat.
"Hey, what are you doing in this crypt? It's a dangerous place."

It seems we have our first two subjects: one lovely mute girl and one equally lovely athletic girl. Very well. I'll let you two mingle for a bit.

Lena texted “AH SORRY I HAVE BEEN HEARING LEGENDS ABOUT THESE MUMMIES AND WANTED TO SEE THEM FOR MYSELF, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?”

The girl read Lena's text: "Oh. Are you mute? However, thanks to your tablet, this is unlikely to be a problem. My name is Clara Loft, nicknamed the Crypt Stealer. I've also heard legends about this crypts with strange mummies and decided to examine them for treasures. For the museum, of course. And what's your name?"

“LENA,SO WHERE DO WE GO FIRST?”

Clara seemed a little embarrassed: "Well, actually, I just snuck in here recently and haven't had time to really look around yet. Let's explore this room first and see what options we have?"
((In fact, we don't know exactly where we are or what the tomb around us looks like))

((Fair warning... Given the forum I posted this RP session in, this will very much be a Point A to Point B deal. Saying this because I am normally not big on railroading people.))

Okay, so the path ahead is rather straightforward. Down it, you see relatively ancient paintings, each one simply depicting symbols representing the Types of the Pokemon world.

Lena looked at the paintings,  then read the hieroglyphics under the symbols. “NORMAL, FIRE, GRASS, WATER, PSYCHIC, ELECTRIC, ROCK, GROUND, FIGHTING, GHOST, FLYING, POISON, BUG, ICE, DRAGON, DARK, STEEL,FAIRY AND HUH? THE LAST ONES ALL QUESTION MARKS.”

"It seems that the creators of these crypt had something like a cult of the elements. And the question marks probably mean that there are treasures in the last two rooms," Clara said without much confidence in her voice. When she met Lena, she introduced herself as a Crypt Stealer, but in fact it was the first crypt that she decided to plunder.
"Anyway, I suggest we continue on our way and see what awaits us."

“I DONT THINK SO I THINK THE QUESTION MARKS MEAN SOMETHING ELSE.”

"Maybe you're right. Anyway, there's only one way to find out. Let's go and see for ourselves," - Clara took out two pistols from the holsters on her belt.

As you would learn going down the corridor, that isn't the case. You came across one BIG room that seems to be divided into two parts: an embalming chamber and the crypt proper (i.e. where they bury the mummies). The embalming chamber has a pedestal on it that looks to be waist-high and wide enough to fit three people. As for the crypt, you see sarcophagi o'plenty.

((Before I proceed, uh, what Types would you guys think work best for your characters?))

((Grass like last time.))

Lena made har way through the crypt looking at all the mummies before trying to see if they aren’t dead by talking to them. “NOD IF YOU CAN HEAR ME.”

((Fighting))
"Wow! It's really impressive," Clara looked around the sarcophagi, "But I'm afraid the mummies won't be able to understand your text even if they see it. We need to open one of them and see what's inside."
She approached the sarcophagus with the badge of the Fighting.

I think the issue is less about understanding text (let's say everyone speaks "Common") and moreso about not being able to see it in the first place. But that being said, the sarcophagus is orange and bore a Fighting-type symbol on it. There's a cartouche on it that, when translated, reads "Bea."

"Help me open this thing?" Clara put her hands on the lid of the sarcophagus and tried to open it.

I'm not gonna even ask for a strength check. I'll let you both pass with flying colors.

Anyway, you open the sarcophagus and find a mummy in there. Specifically, its Bea having been turned into a Fighting-type mummy.

The wrappings are semi-thick, but what you noticeably see is the outermost layer. There, you can see the burial shroud is red with deeper red straps with orange fists stamped all over it.
