Nonsense

The Nonsense, as its name implies, is a nonsensical transformation.  



In the first Nonsense sightings, the calves and forearms of a victim will bloat up as their skin takes a shiny sheen, then their limbs will snap together and fuse with their faces sporting a goofy grin.  The first sightings note that some Nonsense cover their hair but they sprout a stone-like object in their belly button and will usually face towards a specific direction.  It was thought that relocating the Nonsense to a different climate should undo the transformation.







However, the Nonsense has gone through a rapid serial and divergent evolution within a short time.  At one point, it would anchor itself with tendrils or adhesive to make relocation more difficult.  At other times, the Nonsense could draw in anyone that touches it, usually through the rear to maintain its structure.  It also seems to have lost the stone and slimmed down the neck fat during this evolution, and signs of fingers and toes might be hidden instead.  A Nonsense could either be a single color, a skin tone, or patterned after a costume.



The transformation is not just external as nonsense are no longer bound by the directional bias.  In one prison, Nonsense have the ability to absorb and store solar energy.  In another case, a Nonsense is able to store multiple victims within a comparably small space, the bulges suggesting that their limbs and bodies should be intercepting each other.



Even now, it is likely that the Nonsense will continue to evolve and render these observations useless.
