If you've seen cartoons and movies that took place in stereotypical Arabian settings, you should be familiar with the tried-and-true snake charming. The stereotype goes that a guy plays a flute in front of a jar or basket and a snake would rise from it and dance along to the music.

These snake jars, however, have a twist to them. Would you like to see for yourself?

Welcome to the Gloopy Gamble Playtest. This is lightly inspired by Slay the Spire-type roguelikes, though some elements are based on Ero Slayers (made by the person who did Ero Dungeons and Ero Hunters). We'll be testing both the new mechanics of the upcoming RP as well as my ability to run a RP on this schedule. For this session, please only use one character per player.

Here is the template for your character:

Quote:Name:
Class: (Mainly flavor. Ideal to use one element here.)
Enchanted Weapon: (This allows the player to attack even when bound but has no starting buff. One can be provided or enchanted if requested.)
Enchanted Armor: (Everyone starts with a dress/top and bottom, shoes and undergarments; an accessory or replacement with a minor enchantment is placed here.)
Key Skill: (You start with equal amounts of Attacks and Guards. The Key Skill represents the idea of your skills.)
Boon: (You will be granted one of four options- More Resource, Skill Modification, Skill Addition, and Equipment Addition. The gain is randomly determined.)

Depicted Here: A Normal Typesuit and an Electric Padded Typesuit

The Typesuits are a set of restraints based on the elements of the Pokémon world (better referred to as "Types"), which themselves have the widest variety of elements out of any form of media. There are 19 different Typesuits: one for each of the eighteen types and one for the lost ??? Type that had existed in pre-Gen V days (which itself came in two skins: teal and black). This allows for plenty of options. However, the Typesuit is one of very few restraints where, no matter what world they wind up in, they can only be exclusively used on women. The Typesuits themselves are made out of a canvas (13 oz) that is an interweave of cotton and one of the strongest materials in the Pokémon world: Tarountula Silk.

The Typesuit is imbued with energy from the Terastal Phenomenon: elemental magic stemming from the Legendary Pokémon: Terapagos. This power allows the Typesuit to bind itself around the captive as shown here: https://www.deviantart.com/flashlight237...1286951917

In the case of the Padded Typesuit, the magical auto-binding process has the Typesuit get applied to the wearer akin to the first layer of a straitjacket suit used on Asami, with the second layer being applied by a magical aura rather than anything mechanical. Once the Typesuit is applied, it cannot be escaped from alone.

Some say the Typesuits have elemental properties while others say they are little more than canvas restraints. There is a bit of history to them.

History

The Typesuits were inspired by the burial shrouds wrapped on mummies of the 18 Kingdoms (a popularized misnomer as there were actually 19): a matriarchal empire resembling Ancient Egypt with city-states based on each of the Types in the Pokémon world. Millennia before the present day, the 18 Kingdoms mummified women of high status (royalty and nobility) along with priestesses in special ways based on the types their kingdom represents.
Depicted Here: A Ghost-Type mummy and a Dragon-Type mummy from the 18 Kingdoms

It is custom that a mummified royal or noble is buried along with at least two mummified priestesses when their time comes. The 18 Kingdoms did this as a custom of worship towards each of Arceus' 18 elemental Plates. Through protective spells, these wrappings were rendered irremovable, ensuring the one wrapped within is forever preserved beautifully. Mummies displayed in museums showed no signs of fraying on their wraps no matter what time period they came from.

The Typesuits themselves did not come into being until much, much later in the time at which Pokémon Legends: Arceus took place in. Depending on whether you follow the Teraleak, Bulbapedia's entries, or the Meiji Restoration-era architecture in the game, this could be anywhere from 150 to 300 years ago. After a rogue goddess named Alpha (herself unique for being a human goddess instead of a Legendary Pokémon) was defeated in the Fiji-like region of Sh'Bare (itself basically in the shape of Viti Levu but much larger), the remnants of her power melded with Terastal Energy to form powerful elemental trinkets called "Type Charms." These charms were retrieved from shiny Pokémon of each type in the region. A selection of 18 women who made use of these charms would become bound in special Typesuits and became powerful trainers called "Charm Guardians."
These women are essentially "avatars" of their respective Types, and they all served to protect the natural environment of the region.

The name "Typesuit" comes from the fact that the original Typesuits are what is now called the "Padded Typesuit." As long as these Typesuits are worn, no waste product (urine, fecal matter, or any other biological waste product) would ever materialize and any waste prior to being put in the suits would be magically cleansed. Some unknown amount of time later, a sack based on the mummies of the 18 Kingdoms and the Typesuit would be created. Initially these were called "Typesacks"; however, as thick diapers have an association with humiliation or even worse, these sleepsacks would later borrow the "Typesuit" name from the original Typesuits. Now, the sleepsacks are referred to as "Typesuits" while the original Typesuits are referred to as "Padded Typesuits."

So I've made forums for serious RPs, not so serious Kink Talks, some solos, and a few experimental ones. For this Stress Test forum, it'll be more focused on creating an item, person or setting and working things out from there.
This part of the forum is designed to test out a concept you came up with but want to test. This can range from characters and items to combat systems and events. Even if it's an item that you already established, it doesn't hurt to have players find new ways to try it out, which can craft new lore for you. This works as a nice alternative over finding out in the middle of a campaign.
