Picture Splicing

Post by polyedit2000 » Mon Feb 27, 2017 11:16 am

I was just curious if people are alright when parts of pictures are combined to make a different piece of art.

For example, Arnie's Jinx Yohma Remix. I know Raven is from Trap Scrolls and the Bodybag Yohma is obvious, though a new scenario comes to mind when viewing a villain getting new magical powers.

And here's my recent example. I was going to an armless rubber Rei from Blue Ball Bound, but I replaced her head with Asuka because of the angle, then thought about using the Pod Suit's suctioned feet and that's what happened.

Also, here' s an earlier one I did. Bodybag Convention. Needed many bodybags, so took some from Teen Titan Blanks and Love Pillows, taking away mouths and adding some eyes. Did not bother to aim for total Senshi representation and simply call it mistaken cosplay.

So, do they work?

In my opinion, yeah. It feels refreshing to see knew sides to an existing idea. I would love to see more of these.

I agree. It's really interesting a new idea or take coming from different parts.
