It helped that the effect your last attack had on the fireball gave it a bit of Stormtrooper aim. Not sure if a Pokemon trainer would realistically know what a Stormtrooper is, but let's say she does.

Masha went up to the flowers resembling a xylophone and gently tapped one of them with her foot.

I'll assume you two are trying to play Vivaldi's Four Seasons or something. The music started causing the dirt to grow plants. The plant growth started in the middle and worked its way out.
