Leslie was too deep to hear zelda and could not notice the oil headed her way.

“Damn, damn, damn! Zelda was frantically trying to figure out how to stop the oil from getting to Leslie. She didn't have time to summon difficult objects, or to get into the water herself.
So she shouted, “Freeze!”I sent a jet of cold onto the water, hoping to freeze a small area of water and create an ice barrier between Leslie and the strange oil.

Zelda shouted: "Bang!!!" and not far from Leslie, there was a loud sound in the air, like a firecracker exploding. According to Zelda's calculations, Leslie should have turned in the direction of that sound and noticed the danger threatening her.
The oil was already too close, so Zelda wouldn't have had time to help Leslie in any other way anyway.

Leslie noticed “crap and tried to swim to the serface . However the oil eventually reached her foot.

Zelda shouted “Rope" and pointed at Leslie.
A rope materialized out of thin air. One end of it ended up in the hands of the illusionist-girl and the other flew to Leslie.
“Grab the rope, hurry up!”

Leslie quickly grabbed the rope and looked at the now polluted water “there goes pur chances to get outta here!”

"Gee... If only Dawn were here. She'd know what to do..."

Zelda began to pull her end of the rope with all her might, trying to get Leslie ashore as soon as possible. However, she was a illusionist and a novice magician, but not a circus strongwoman…
“I think Dawn has either already defeated Analise, or has been captured by her. And I'm afraid the second option is more likely. So help me get Leslie out so that together we can help your magical friend.” - she said to Alice.

Leslie looked at the cameras on the television screen “yep i think dawns been captured! Shes not there. We must find a way to save her!”

Leslie got up ashore and took another look at the cameras then she looked at the tubevomtiing  out the oil then pondered . “The tube is acting like a vacume cleaning blowing out the oil maybe we could reverse it somehow.”

Zelda: “But how? To be honest, I don't know much about mechanics and mechanisms, unless it concerns the equipment for magic tricks.”

"Speaking of mechanisms, what if that tube was remote controlled on Analise's end?"
